Our Jewelry Making Idea: Zaney Chics – “How Marla Became A Wire Monster”
For many years I have been creating with my hands and mind. I became a real craft junkie. Learning how to knit from the time I was six years old showed me how great it felt to create and design so many different things. I tried so many different ways to keep my brain in a happy place. Through the years I have realized that it is never too late to reinvent yourself. Last year I met my business partner, Betty, who is a master jewelry designer working with wire and beads. Well, never having worked with wire my brain went haywire and I took a piece of wire and the tools needed to learn to create and make jewelry. Then just for fun we both worked together to create our Zaney Chics. They will bring a smile to your face and they can be transformed to anything you desire them to be. Depending on their size they can be ornaments, pendants, bottle toppers, or can just hang around and make you smile. Sitting, standing or hanging they make quite a statement. Zaney and one of a kind says it all!! ~Marla
